…And through the Ekleipsis, many were made to endure and contend against the dark depravity of the Darkness. Their wickedness went forth throughout all of Erde, carried out by the hands of the Gibborims, the brothers of Jagare, and their army of Gottlos and Ubils. Even did Kirche, that place which once stood as the whereabouts of the Sealed of King Salvare, did fall into the hands of the Wicked One and become known as Temeto.
Wiltzer, the dwarf, and his wife had returned to Hozekan, and shared the new knowledge they had gain from Vandor and King Salvare’s Book of Wisdom. From doubt arose faith, which stirred within the hearts of their people, whereby most would trust in the truth. Some refused to follow, as had been the same with the people of Erde, but many followed the Sealed to the hidden sanctuary away from the torments upon the land.
Within Geheim, mankind and dwarf dwelled together, learning to respect and care for one another, realizing they were more similar than different. They had many things in common, of which was their fight against the Darkness and their trust in the return of King Salvare, to rescue them from the Wicked One.
Though Kayla had returned to Geheim after being kidnapped by the Gottlos, Vandor’s heart stilled longed for her. She was cold and distant to him, and it grieved his whole essence to where he became overbearingly depressed. Vandor’s family and friends tried to comfort him, but it did little good while he did watch his love act as though they had never known one another.
Witnesses came unto the inhabitants of Geheim, being sent there by King Salvare himself to bare witness of his coming. These Witnesses told them many things, reminded them of the promises in the Book of Wisdom, and gave hope to all. They prepared groups to go forth into Erde, to search for lost and bound souls that desired to flee the Darkness and cleave unto King Salvare, while they themselves would confront Jagare with his iniquity.
While the Beacons did search Erde and the Witnesses faced Jagare, wolves in sheep’s clothing did attack within the walls of Geheim. The inhabitants stood firm against those who had given themselves over to the lies of the Darkness, even after having seen and heard the Witnesses, and remained hopeful to the King’s coming.
While the Witnesses lost their lives in giving warning to Jagare, Ashvar returned to aid those Beacons and others against the strong hold of Gottlos in Trachten. Though the victory was theirs, as Vikadore and Menindas fled away to Temeto, Vandor watched his love fall to her death as she was about to slay him. Yet, all things were not as they seemed.
Families and friends were reunited, with small victories lending hope to weary souls. Some doubts remained, but faith would not allow itself to faultier by the wayside.
Through the turmoil, the struggle, and the darkness, Ashvar could see the precious lights of the heavens. He saw it, he embraced it, he shared it…
…the Daegsteorra was before them…
